Speedometer Simple

I like this app when used on my bike, but the various features are not synchronized together. You can take a break under cover (lose GPS temporarily) and when you resume the ride there are suddenly 8 or 10 extra miles added to the trip distance. The mapping feature shows no extra miles though, and average speed doesn’t change either. Sometimes the highest speed shows an unbelievable high speed suddenly but again, average speed doesn’t reflect that. If the software algorithms looked at all of the different analytics together these anomalies would be smoothed out for a more accurate result. Just a thought for the developers. I really like the app but the inconsistency is a little annoying sometimes.

I only use apps such as this for biking. I’ve struggled with several apps that were so much more than I wanted but this one gives me everything I’m looking for without a bunch of what I’m not. The dial gauge and the big number speed is perfect (my eyesight isn’t what it used to be and I don’t wear glasses biking). The trip log is perfect as well. The last app I used didn’t store the trip date anywhere, for some reason. It’s rare that I like something this much having only used it once. The ads didn’t bother me that much but they deserve the $10, so I bought it. Nice stuff!

I have down loaded this app, today. And I was watching my mother’s speed reading from the back seat, and she was coming to an area the speed limit is 25 mph. I reminded my mother to slow down, because you will never know if there’s HPD doing speeding check points. So far, I compared this speedometer reading to my mother’s dashboard speed reading is very accurate. I am knew to this app. I was looking if this app had a reading that the driver was going over the speed limit with a maps and street names. I noticed that the top left white button has a recording on this app, which is good. Unfortunately, I could not see if it had recorded of mph while driving on the streets.
