Should I Run?

This is the only BART app that I need. It simplifies complicated schedule information into a view that tells me how much time I have until the train that I need. I check it every single morning and afternoon when commuting.

And I made it just in time!! This is the BART app I have always wanted. I open it and immediately see when the next trains are coming. No cumbersome and unnecessary drop down menus to select stations or a plan a trip. A big thank you to the app’s designer.

Never before have I seen an app so clearly designed by someone who rides Bart every day. In one simple screen, you get everything you want to know: the closest stations, the upcoming departures, and even walking (and running!) estimates. No way a Running ETA makes the cut in a Google product design review meeting, but man, it’s so helpful for those of us who are, shall we say, prone to cutting things close. It’s not the only BART app you’ll ever need, but if you’re a daily commuter, it’s likely to become your most used. It certainly is for me. Big ups to the dev!
