They owed me a refund since I returned the car earlier. They said it will be refunded automatically. Later I received an email saying that the refund cannot be completed (from their payment processor) and nothing more. Tried to call their customer service but it’s all automated. Had to go to their website and complain. Received a message with a link asking me to complete bank details. I entered the info and it says it’s wrong. No idea what’s wrong. I gave up. Will not use Yelo in the future.

I’m from the U.S. I went to visit Saudi Arabia and I rented a car from Yelo, they asked me for SAR 1500 ($400) as a refundable insurance deposit and it will be refunded to my credit card after 21 days from the return date. It was a mistake that I trusted them. I went back to the United State and after 21 days I emailed them checking on the refund, they replied asking me to fill a form with a lot of personal information such National ID number, bank account and IBAN number, resident address. They want to wire the money internationally instead of just returning it to the same card I used. I emailed back 14 time, and I always get the same automated reply “you have to fill the information” I ask for a supervisor to communicate with me, they reply back “ clarify why you want to talk to a supervisor “ WHAT????!!! This is insane. Never again 👎🏽 the worst. Negative 5 stars 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
