Quotie Pro

I’ve gone through many quote apps over the past 12 years, and have been saving quotes since I was a kid, from wise words of wisdom, to inspirational thoughts and perspectives that I’ve come across over the years. And I am SO happy the developer is still developing and improving this app after discovering it 6 years ago after my previous favorite was abandoned by its developer (and no longer available). Pros: + Can import your quote library from a previous app via CSV spreadsheet file + Can automatically add a quote from your clipboard upon launching the app (can turn on or off in settings) + Author field + Source Field + Catogories/tags (like “Wisdom” and “Funny” and “Inspirational” and “For the hard days” etc. + Can turn on push notifications to get random quotes sent to you at specific times during the day (like first thing in the morning to start your day, in the evening to end your day with wise words to ponder as you drift off to sleep, etc.) + Can export backup file as .CSV to either share with friends and family or simply as your own backup to import to a new device or restore later on. + Clean and easy+intuitive user interface + Still being updated as of July of 2026! + I contacted the developer about some minor changes, and he kindly replied, and already implemented some of them! CONS: - Doesn’t separate Author of quote into author field automatically upon “Auto-Import” (but I’ve requested this feature and hopefully it will be implemented soon! :) - When editing a quote, the X button at top-left is the save and close button, and could be confusing for some, making them think they are cancelling the changes they made, but it doesn’t. I’ve asked if this could be changed to a left < instead (like I think it used to be?) Thanks to the developer for creating such a perfectly elegant and simple app that perfectly fits practically all my quote needs, and charges a very reasonable one-time price for it! ^_^

The developer took the time to personally email me to tell me that he is back and the app is alive and well and that’s great news

I've been collecting quotes since I was 10, and had a number of various handwritten and digital collections over the years. I had been looking for an app that would help me to bring them all into one place, but until Quotie Pro no such app really existed. The app still has a few bugs, but the developer is incredibly responsive and proactive in addressing minor problems when they emerge. I also appreciate the discover function, which lets you explore new quotes and sends you quotes at your desired frequency. Would definitely recommend!
