I have never used “midi learn/clear” and don’t plan on using it. Why does this menu show up so quickly on long touching the iPad... and then it sticks making a few taps to get it to go away.... this really drags workflow... what can’t this be turned off to accommodate most users... that feature is no something called upon that we need it after a half second is up... its so annoying please add a preference. Please. I’m convinced the limited sounds and the quality in the drum machine are mirrored from Emu SP1200 or 12bit machine alike. The sequencer groove (swing) stands out as having the same behaviors of the older boxes (DMX, Drumtrax, Linn) it literally reminds me of programming back in the day... I appreciate the limit of just kick + snare + hat... what else do you really need at the time of sketching... It takes a little time before it happens, but when it does you will know you are there. Don’t know how else to explain it but this app is my new main tool for writing out ideas... I’d like to see some more filters added although the comb is perfection, no suggestions it’s made just right. Sugar Bytes is paid before the mortgage around here!

THANK YOU Sugerbytes for adding note hold. It was the only thing preventing my purchasing the app. Note hold is a key part of my sound tapestry creation technique. And thank you for making note hold persistent while sampling multiple presets. When I’m in my creation process, unnecessary mechanical interaction can break the musical idea I’m working on.
Simple, intuitive and well thought out interface. Yet surprisingly powerful once you look under the hood. Within minutes of purchase, I was having great fun creating beats I never could have imagined. I’m looking forward to see how this killer music app evolves. I highly recommend it, there’s nothing like it. A lot of bang for the buck. However— I would give 5 stars if I could rely on my files staying the same way I left them. Opening previously saved works is inconsistent—sometimes the tempo is sped up, or some of my saved patterns simply disappear.
