This game is really well thought out. It has everything that you’d need for drawing/designing. But, I would really love to see an update where you can drag and drop colors onto specific areas of the body, clothing, or accessory. I also would like a bigger border barrier when it comes to drawing. (Something that makes it easier drawing between the lines) also, another idea would be instead of having to draw everything out on your own, can you make it to where the people who want to just draw an outfit or shoe that they made, have it more easier to color. Additional add ons could be like a toggle for shadows on the character and their clothes. There should also be a makeup section where you could put on the model instead of drawing it and there needs to be more hair styles. I would really love to see some of the stuff requested in this game. Thank you!
Too many pop-ups. Makes you sign up for a 7 day trial (itʻs an $80 annual fee!) before you can actually try much of anything. Crazy. If iʻm going to buy this for $80 i want it forever not one year, and 7 days is not enough to know if this will be worth the expense for my business. Give me a month or two to see if it integrates into my workflow, and if i actually use it BUT THE REAL ISSUE - the templates are all really horrid. The app is full of gross drawings already - why ??? Where are these looks from and why are they filling what should be my new blank workspace with their chaos and bad looks? These-pre loaded looks are very immature and ugly tbh - and the croquis are really really unuseable in a professional real world fashion business venue from what i can see before a pop up blocks my view. They seem stale and too niche at the same time. I downloaded and deleated this app in less than one day. Iʻll be spending $30 for Fashion Draw instead because the free version has ZERO POP-UPS, and TECH PACK TEMPLATES with seam brushes, and gives me enough access to make me want to try the paid version - which less than $5/mo to test it out when i do, and if itʻs good iʻll purchase it outright with updates for $30, AND their croquis are better for design - less personality forced on the user and more focus on proportions and actual functionality for actual irl designers imo. Meanwhile this app is like a stanly cup: looks fancy to non-professionals and makes posers feel like pro because itʻs expensive, but it isnʻt actually a tool an irl designers can actually use full time in their aetelier.
Yes, this app like every other app is imperfect. It has glitches. There have been improvements made. More improvements are needed—however I still gave it 5 stars. I’ve been using this app since I discovered it a year or 2 ago. I loved it then and I still love it now. I’ve been drawing fashion sketches since I was a kid and 30+ yrs later I’m still drawing and designing. I’ve been to FIT and quite truthfully I can draw without a template. However, when I’m on the road and in a hurry and have a fashion design in mind—using this app simply saves me time. It’s fun using the app and it took some mistakes and messing around with the options to see how it works but once you get the hang of it— you’ll love it! I give credit where credit is due and quite frankly there is not another app out there that even comes close to this one available in the App Store. Believe me, I’ve tried many and I’ve searched for something like this one for awhile. I was even considering coming up with a fashion design app of my own but, I simply don’t have the time or expertise. Everyone’s experience with this app is different. Mine has simply been wonderful.
