Hand Held Metal Detector

This works to detect metal- but metal HAS to be directly touching against the phone, making it completely useless to actually finding metal, because you have to already know where something is and be right on top of it! If set sensitivity higher you would think it would mean it would locate metal at a further distance- but that distance increases to 2” from the phone with NOTHING in between the phone and metal item. And of sensitivity is turned all the way up the app just beeps/vibrates constantly, even with the phone pointed up at the sky and no metallic objects around anywhere at all! So go ahead and get this app if you want to use it to locate metal items that you’re already looking at and right on top of, which means you can already see it anyway. But do not hope to actually be able to use it to locate lost items.

This app saved me from having to rent a metal detector. It works very well. I could have stayed with the free version but decided to purchase it to support developer.
