Ghosts of St Augustine

We have a very large family (there were 11 of us), and this was perfect for us! It would’ve cost us a mint to buy tickets on a guided tour. We took a good quality portable Bluetooth speaker so we could play the app loudly enough for us all to hear. I think it hits some places that other guided tours don’t. Also, it’s a great way to walk around and see the area. I would definitely recommend this. You can’t beat it for $1.99. Stop while you’re going and get ice cream at Kilwin’s, or macarons, or coffee at Kooksburra, or even a meal at any number of local gems. Wear good shoes!!

This is one of my favorite paid apps. I may only use it once, but it was still a bargain: it was much cheaper than a tour guide, and it was nice to have the flexibility to start and stop when we wanted. The audio is good- bring some ear buds.

If you’ve ever done a ghost tour, with a guide, but want more flexibility - give this one a try. It’s nice to set your own schedule and not worry about how fast or slow the group is going. It was a beautiful day so we could go slowly and take pictures, stop for lunch, and see then see more sights.
