In Dec 2024 this app introduced a “vibrant new look” but unfortunately it’s now extremely difficult to read. Nearly everything on the screen is blue and turquoise, so users are trying to read blue on blue items—it’s not easy. The icons were made smaller and are now also difficult to read - is that rain? Hail? Lightning? Can’t tell. While the look is indeed vibrant, the usefulness of the app is significantly reduced as you just can’t read the thing. There are no options for larger icons, plain background, contrasting colors, color blindness, or visual impairment. Needs a lot of work.

As a boater living in Sofla, any hourly forecast without wind data (speed AND direction) is incomplete. I jump to another site for this information every time. Pick a regional point like Haulover or Port Everglades. 4 stars for the rest of the information and its display, especially the radar presentation. One more criticism, one commercial is more than enough to see the video forecast. Two is painful and even stops me from pressing play from time to time. A little variety would also be nice. How many times do you think we consumers purchase impact windows and doors anyway?

I have used this app since it was first introduced. It’s great, but after the last update my phone battery started to drop to where I had to charge it twice a day instead of twice a week. Turned off the running in the background and now my battery is fine. Only happened after the update and it was the only one I did that day. Just wanted you to know. It’s still a great app otherwise.
