Updated to iOS 17.1 while requires a restart. SEP still keeps giving warning about out of date iOS. It is the most current but app is not updating their warning.

I like this app since day one then they started taking away features like the map showing hijacked WiFi hotspots and content manipulation incidents. That’s no good. Lately it’s alerting to content manipulation but even hours with Symantec tech support couldn’t tell me how to address that. It eventually went away but I’ll never know if it was real or false positive. Also you need an mdm subscription for app analysis. If you run your own equipment you can’t get this feature either. I keep it running for peace of mind but with so many features reduced and not avail to home users I’m not sure it’s worth it. It gets. 5 stars for alerting when an iOS update is avail though.

The app highly recommends allowing it to see your location data. When this is always on, you will go through almost doubly the battery in a day. It’s a little after 5pm and I’m already at 50%, when I haven’t done much all day. I charged it up yesterday and unplugged it overnight only to awaken to it already being under 90% when all it did was sit on the counter. By far biggest issue.
