Connect with God

Today was the 2nd day using the this app… and wow it is a true spiritual game changer 🙌🏼 You can truly feel the Holy Spirit immediately in the guided encounter. I was taking my first attempt at jogging intervals to hit 4 miles in a certain amount of time and after mile 3, my knee started hurting. Now, I’m no wimp and I like to challenge myself so I tried to push through it. I started praying “Holy Spirit… be my knee!!!” 😅 Probably not theologically correct but you know what I mean. What felt like “wisdom” in my head was “just stop so you don’t hurt yourself, you can hit this goal next time”. But I didn’t want to accept that. I kept praying and it was still hurting. Then as I was doing my connect with God time in the app, the “Religion’s Gotta Go!” song came on. I’m smiling and singing with it “JOY! JOY! JOY! JOY!” and all of the sudden I can run with ease! Knee pain gone 🙌🏼 The Lord reminded me of Nehemiah 8:10–“The JOY of the Lord is my strength!” The joy of the Lord literally and physically strengthened me (specially my knee) and I finished my 4 miles just in time. What God also showed me is that I have been letting perfectionism/performance hinder my encounter time. If I didn’t go a certain amount of time with my encounter, I felt like it wasn’t enough. And if I didn’t have a certain window of time to get it done, it wouldn’t get done. But what this app is already helping me with is seeing how I truly CAN encounter the Lord in 30 minutes and how much HE can move in that time. I also love the prayer request + praise report portion! You can tell this app was created with the Lord and with so much prayer. It’s not just an app—it’s truly a discipleship tool. If you haven’t started using it yet, I highly recommend 🔥

I had a 15 min quality vs quantity holy encounter today with a 15 min drop of Adoration and the song “Abba” playing in the background as I danced in the throne room. It ended with me laying on the floor before His throne in a trance. I was at the park worshipping with no fear of man. Suddenly my closest sisters in Christ were there as well and bystanders gathered and were healed and set free, as we were unaware and enthroned in the adoration of Who He Is. Later a call to not be afraid to take my sisters in Christ/friends and gather at the park to have their own encounter of worship outside. Thank you for building such a holy altar of encounters for others through this app and encouraging others to even heed the call of God and take Him outside the four walls! ❤️‍🔥

There’s never been a better app to help you learn how you uniquely connect with God and then empower you to do so in an easy and powerful way. It not only guides you through time with God but also lets you understand the Word of God with “Go Deeper” function that gives you ability to research nearly twenty different Bible resources lexicons, Greek/Hebrew, dictionary, historical interpretations, commentaries, and the list goes on. Three of my favorite features are 1) ability to read up to four different translations at same time (2000 different languages and Bibles), 2) as well as ability to connect your own music playlist on the global media player which you can also listen to outside the app; 3) the Movement Encounter which reads everything to you and even tracks your distance and speed. How cool is that! It’s like they took the best of Bible app and multiple Bible study app and a fitness app and put it all into one game changer experience to help people encounter God on a daily basis.
