TCG Card Scanner & Value-Foloy

~EDIT: App is useless. It can’t tell if something is holo half the time and consistently tells me my cards are shadowless when they clearly aren’t. You’re better off entering the details yourself bc the AI can’t do it~ I like the concept, but there are several issues I’d like to see addressed before I continue my subscription. 1- no organization for my collection. It’s just a list of cards, no sorting at all 2- no way to share my collection 3- the ai framing feature that makes a yellow box around the card I’m photographing is trash. It often will change the shape of the box drastically making clear photos a pain. 4- the ability to detect wear is flawed. I had many pristine cards that it said had “whitening along the edges” which is obviously lowering the value of my collection overall. Most of the cards it scanned said this 5- can’t use the macro camera on my iPhone to get pics.

Good app had to scan a few cards a few times to get different results. The results were all similar. Nothing crazy would recommend. Would love to see an upgraded version with grading.

I'm just now getting into card collecting and even though I know some things I thought the scanner would be useful for me. I opened my first one piece pack ever just for fun and without knowing anything and scanned my hit card for it to come back as $250. I was obviously happy and pleasantly surprised by that, but then looked up the card in the apps catalog (the only redeeming quality of this app) and saw that my card was only worth about $22. I was confused so I went back to th previous scan to try and figure out what happened and the scanner had made up false information about the card such as what pack it belonged to and it's price. It's a specific rare art card that only has one other card that looks even close to similar but the price is in the thousands so it seems like the scanner just wants to make up whatever price it feels like. There's no reason to have this app. If you know your stuff and just want to keep a digital catalog of your collection, there are better apps and if you don't know the value just ask Claude.
