For an initial release, this app has all the core features I was hoping for and more! Looking forward to future updates. It never made sense for LA Metro to move to the third party “Transit” app and have users pay for the important features that made the app useful. The $240k savings on Metro’s end was not worth putting the burden on its riders to pay. Keep this app team funded!
The new layout looks nice, and eventually I find out how to save my favorite stops, but there’s no easy way to organize them. Also, I can’t see different directions on the same saved stop. And I can’t seem to be able to save the stop on the other side of the street to get that either way. So I could use a little bit more work. Also, when tracking a ride, it seems to take you to a map with no way to get back to the application so you have to close the app and reopen it to get back to the main interface for the app.
I was looking for an app because there are no Google maps that detail all the lines and I finally want to start using public transportation in LA as a high schooler. This app made my planning soooo much easier especially since all the maps on the website just weren’t as clear and were very hard to see specifics. I’m so glad I found this app and I highly recommend. I would love to see a feature where you can plan your route with multiple stops (unless that’s already there and I’m just missing it)z
