Judo AI: Training Coach

The app is functionally useless unless you're a paying member. When you open the app, it asks you how long you've been training and your belt rank. There is no option to choose an intermediate rank; you are either a white belt or a 1-10 dan black belt. The app then asks you what technique you want to improve (you can only choose one) and gives a couple of drills you can do to improve. You also get a combination tree. After you go through this preview, the app prompts you to choose either the monthly plan or the yearly plan. The yearly plan is the only one with the option for a free trial. So if you forget to cancel your trial, tough luck, you're stuck paying 70 bucks. You're stuck on the membership screen until you pay for the Pro version. You can't go back and see what the AI told you to practice, nor can you look at your combination tree. You're just stuck on the pay screen until you choose either the yearly plan or the monthly plan. It's absolutely impossible to use this app without paying. It's deceptive and shady. I wouldn't complain if the app cost money, or if it was made explicitly clear that the app required the membership beforehand. But the way the app marketed is unfortunate at the best and deliberately deceptive at the worst. If you do decide to download this app know that there is no free option. If you pay, be very careful. There were too many red flags which led me to not pay for the membership. Also, I'm 99% sure all of the reviews are fake.
