I purchased a Flashforge printer because I wanted to inspire my son to learn 3D printing and engineering. Unfortunately, the software experience has been so frustrating that it’s doing the opposite. Your software is confusing and difficult to use. I can’t even reliably open or print the downloadable models in your own catalog. Many of them stall during the slicing process, often at 66% or 99%, and never complete. The preview window is another example of poor design. It’s a long, narrow rectangle that makes it nearly impossible to see the model. It’s like trying to look at an elephant through a narrow slit. Why isn’t there a normal-sized preview window? Customer support has been equally disappointing. I’ve been waiting over two hours for a response with no help. There is no phone number to call, very little documentation, and no clear instruction manual. For a beginner, the learning curve is unnecessarily steep. My son’s friends all use Bambu printers. They tell him it’s easy to download, slice, and print models without fighting the software. Meanwhile, we’re spending hours trying to figure out basic tasks instead of actually creating things. I didn’t buy this printer because I wanted another technical challenge. I bought it because I wanted to encourage creativity and spend time building projects with my son. Instead, we’ve spent our time troubleshooting software. Please take this as constructive feedback. The hardware may be capable, but the software and user experience need significant improvement. Right now, it feels like software designed decades ago with very little focus on usability. I hope you’ll invest in making the experience simpler, more reliable, and better supported for families and beginners.

I’m using this to control my AD5M, It has sooooooooooooooo many models and it is overall a great app. I am 12. I bought the 3d printer by doing chores and lemonade stands, and the app is just as good. I have so much control over the 3d printer, and I love pausing the print halfway through while my brother is watching it because it is very funny. 5/5 stars for the app. I can literally print in 5 clicks.

I can’t believe how good this app is. I used to only be able to get prints using my super Langley computer and they would barely work but once I got this app I have been printing at least five things a day. It’s super easy to set up and very bringing our friendly. Make sure to turn on notifications from the app so it can give you a notification when you’re done printing. That is super nice. Has lots of models. Super nice to have love it.
