Addictive!

Update: Devs have added some unique levels where you only get a few chances to complete which is cool I suppose, however have not tried using my power-ups to complete. I don’t spend money on this game. So, don’t listen to people that get stuck somewhere in the hundreds because I’m almost at level 1500… unless you are someone who would rather swap games than complete the puzzle. The more you play a level, the more you understand the color sequence in which you’re supposed to hit it (which is THE idea of a puzzle game). Also, the tiles that are connected might become singular, which makes the level easier on further attempts. I still stay firm with my first review that I enjoy this app and I continue to play daily. Saw this game in an advertisement while playing another iPad game. Super enjoyable gameplay. I personally enjoy the side spool/cassette type matching events that improves with every level beaten. There is now a feature to watch an ad to continue a level without ever purchasing anything so don’t be dismayed by negative reviews that I noticed before I started writing this. Keep up the good work Jelly dudes and continue the events and more levels please!! The art is awesome too! Glad I downloaded it! A+++

Poor store system

Id like to start with i do enjoy the game play, it all feels very smooth and overall a pretty good experience. however my main issue which i personally find a bit of a big deal is that the store feels very unoptimized, you get 30coins per level-60 if you see an ad after. then are expected to make purchases of 900 or 1600 coins to beat one level. you get a winning streak up to 3 with each one giving you a small boost and you lose them if you lose of course. so to not lose you have to spend 800 coins to revive or spend more of those coins to buy single use upgrades. some levels are only winnable by following an exact order which i feel takes away from the “skill/enjoyment” of it since you’re relying on luck and hoping you chose the right one. of course making the items cheaper or giving players more upgrades would be nice for players i understand it’s still a business. i think that you should be able to watch ads to get free items or just an amount of coins like 100 or 200 so you can save up for them and not lose your streaks. as some levels like 83 for example can have you stuck replaying over and over while also spamming the cube the second it comes back cause you have no space for it just to realize you’ve been spam tapping your screen and cant progress anymore since one single pixel is hiding in the middle of the art and you can’t get it. That stuff being said i do still enjoy it but just few that items are required to win but you don’t really get them without paying real money.

Definitely pay to win

I’m wondering how people are over level 100. I’ve gotten stuck for days on multiple puzzles and I’m only on level 64. I love games like this, but I always end up hitting a snag because many get too hard to do at a certain level and you MUST spend money to get past them. I had a few power ups saved, so I was able to get through some super difficult levels (and they’re not spread out), but I’ve run out of power ups because you don’t get them too often unless you win rounds in a row, which gets impossible. You would think you could just buy some power ups with the in-game currency, but they give you so little (even for hard levels), that it takes forever to get enough to buy power ups. And if you can’t get past a level, you can’t get the currency to buy power ups, anyway. I’ve been stuck on this level 64 puzzle for 3 days now. I get to the point I’ve got 7-9 jellies on the board and trying to keep them in play while trying to get new ones up that I need. I literally used my last few power ups trying to get through this puzzle. They got me close, but not all the way. Now, without any power ups, I can’t even get halfway through the puzzle. This is probably the 6th game like this that I ended up quitting because it always gets like this. It’s no fun, not being able to get through the puzzles, so it’s a delete for me. Maybe I’ll find one that’s not like this. I want to play the game, not be constantly stuck unless I’m buying hundreds of dollars of in-game currency.
