Unglue: Screen Time Friend

I am using the paid version of this app. I appreciate the concept of “earning” time to use blocked apps. It’s really good when you can’t quite escape the itch yet, but can only unlock 30 minutes max at a time to prevent yourself from being “glued” to your phone. Some suggestions for the devs: 1. Please make the tasks list rearrangable or sortable It makes no sense that when I remember to add a morning task only for it to show up at the very end of the list where I’ve already added evening tasks. You can’t make chronological sense of what you need to do and can easily miss tasks because they are out of sequence. 2. Make a block app option where you cannot unblock any apps while on focus mode, etc. It’s way too easy to bypass the idea of earning app time when I can just unblock it. 3. When making custom times, please stop with the 5 minute increments. Some tasks require much more customization. Additionally, when you go all the way down to 1, increasing it by 5 minutes makes it go to 6,11,16 etc instead of back to 5,10,15 etc. I hope they’ll be more themes/cute/app customizations we can earn to help incentivize us to complete tasks as a another reward we can purchase

Unglue App Review Unglue is a creative screen time app that helps you earn phone time by completing tasks, which makes it more motivating and fun than regular screen limit apps. It’s great for building better habits and staying productive. However, one big downside is that once you’re done using the app, it can be very hard to delete, even if you try. This can be frustrating if you no longer want it. Some features also require payment, and the app can be a little confusing at times. Overall: 4/5 ⭐ — helpful and unique, but not perfect.

This app is seriously phenomenal. I think I have tried just about every screen time app there is and they all begin to blend. None of them can hold me long enough or get me to care. This app seriously gets it. The feature of being to add your OWN TASKS to earn points seriously sets this apart. It is both a fantastic habit tracker and screen time reducer. I seriously love it. Currently on the free trial but this experience is really making me want to stay. Great job developers!! Only notes for the future: - Possibly more widget designs! - I sometimes like having low coins bc it keeps me off my phone, but I also like completing tasks and earning coins. Maybe there could be a little store where you can buy your pet clothes or backgrounds or fun things. I’d spend coins on that too and it would continue to keep my screen time low. Great job!
