I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this app was very disappointing. The onboarding process takes a long time, with countless questions about your values, lifestyle, and spouse preferences. You naturally assume that all of this information will be used to provide high-quality, compatible matches. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. After paying for a subscription, I waited nearly 20 days and received only three matches. Two of them did not meet one of my clearly stated non-negotiable preferences (wearing hijab), and the third was from another country, even though I was looking for someone in the United States. Calling these “potential matches” doesn’t make sense when they ignore the basic preferences I specifically provided. Another issue is transparency. The App Store listing doesn’t make it obvious that many of the app’s core features require a paid subscription. Users spend a significant amount of time completing the profile, only to discover at the end that they need to pay. After investing both time and money, I expected much better results. I’ve used other Muslim matrimonial apps that provide more relevant matches and better value. Based on my experience, this app did not meet my expectations, and I can’t recommend paying for a subscription unless the matching system becomes much more accurate and transparent.
They actually take marriage seriously. No swiping. No fake profiles. Just actual serious Muslims trying to get married, with a really earnest and genuine system that asks you questions about your values and needs and then pairs you up with someone based on your thorough answers. It’s Shaykh approved too. Sometimes it takes a few tries but give it a chance and give the person you’re matched with a chance - it’s matchmaking not a menu. Great app
What I like about inpairs is that it doesn’t feel like a dating app trying to disguise itself. It actually feels built for Muslims who are serious about marriage. It’s not perfect (no app is), but it’s honestly the first one that seems the most halal. The support team also is very genuine in their responses and they listen to feedback all the time. Looking forward to the next drop inshallah!
