Scratch AI - Play Better Golf

App concept is very cool, and worked well in some cases. AI caddy disregarded obvious hazards (hitting over houses off the tee), did not make any adjustments for lie and obstacles (directed me to hit a 3 wood from the rough while directly behind a tree, directed me to chip from the fringe just off the green). App also had the wrong tee boxes in some occasions, resulting in being directed to hit 3 wood whereas driver may have otherwise been suggested. Overall I think the idea is fantastic, and I acknowledge that the app is new, and imperfect. Recommendations: Allow to have the lie be taken into consideration, (rough, fringe, up or down in rough, off hardpan, below feet, above feet, etc), allow user to manually move position to correct tee issue, allow for edits to club yardages after rounds (made a mistake when entering 60 degree yardage, and cannot find where to edit it).

As an average golfer, I’m always driver every tee box. Thinking it’s best to get as far down the fairway as possible. This always leads to extra shots and out of bounds recovery swings. With scratch I was instructed that’s always not the best play. Using it for the first time I improved my best round ever by 5 strokes. Would 100% recommend for the average golfer, it’s a life changer and I just started using it 💯
