phone call would be easier for emergency situations, not this?!!!!!!! Like people would panic at times like this, how could you downgrade something that people have long using for???? I was like what? We need to install something like this? For emergency? This app is a joke seriously, there were lots of complaints in social media especially when there were medical emergencies the ambulance would arrive too late. I don’t even see the point of this app, you think this is like a shopping app ah? I’m very upset that something like this could even consider to be released or even thought of, you think this is project RBT ah?! Innovation what so ever. Anyways phone call 999>>>>> and do better if you want to prove to us this innovation of an APP can solve the nations problem faster than the emergency phone call that you just dropped out. You will be responsible to all of the people that didn’t get immediate help in emergency situations. I will say this again, if you want to continue this RBT project of an app do BETTER, people lives are at risk in these situations.
I tried using SaveME 999 hoping it would make emergency calls easier, but the experience felt like I needed to save myself first before the system could save me. With too many menus, long verification steps, and navigation that feels more complicated than a banking app, the system seems to forget its main purposeto connecting users to help as quickly as possible. In an emergency, every second counts. But with SaveME 999, it feels like you need a tutorial before you can even press the “Help” button especially for senior citizens. If this is considered innovation, it’s the kind that confuses more than it assists. Malaysia needs an emergency system that’s simple, fast, and responsive, not one that makes people feel like they need help just to figure out how to ask for help.
when i first login, i have created an account but stopped before i completed the NRIC upload steps because the card was not with me that time. Afterward, the login i created result in invalid credentials and clicking ‘forgot my password’ did not send email to my email ( i have checked the spam mail too) . Otherwise, when trying to sign up again, i no longer received OTP. I wonder why make user go through the same ID verification step that MyDigitalID does and not integrate it? Consider this fact: if a person encounter emergency, the emergency app should be just one click to seek help, not a 2 minute setup with need to upload. I understand that this is deter spam/fake activation but need to think of benefit and risk both way. Fake activation can exist but perhaps need other method to reduce it. For example, each phone has uuid as identifier, mobile connection has ip, to some extend some app can read telco connected, GPS verification etc.
