Chillio: Life Planner

I bought this app based on reviews and an ad I’d seen on Facebook where a woman chatted with Chi about handling a messy dining room table. In the ad, Chi analyzed a photo of her messy dining room table, verbally provided a time estimate of how long it would take to clean the table including locations for where she should put each of the categorized items. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING! There is no verbal chat feature where you can interact with Chi like having a conversation. The only chat feature they provide is a text chat feature which is 100% false advertising. There is also no photo analysis feature, which was advertised. I bought this app for a week, as there’s no free week trial, and I’m so glad I didn’t purchase a year as it’s a waste of money. As an ADHD coach, and as a person with ADHD myself, I was hoping to preview the app for clients as I potential body double or accountability buddy to add to their/my tools. This is a terrible app and I would never recommend it to anyone!

The idea behind the app is really good and it has really helped me stay on track with my adhd. However, the coins and diamonds you earn cannot be spent, rendering them completely useless. The Chi cat chat bot goes offline in the middle of writing back and forth with it. It always starts the conversation off by saying something about your day being so/so or bad, even if you rate your day differently. An app glitch has made my pet and the room it’s in completely disappear so the one tiny incentive of earning a gift after completing tasks is also now pointless because I can’t actually see what I earned. Entering routines is cumbersome and the auto routines get really repetitive, making it hard to stay engaged. Ive been using the app several weeks because I really do like the concept but it’s to the point that it’s simply not enough for my adhd.

I saw an ad today and thought.. I need to clean, the house is a disaster, why not try it? I was skeptical of paying the subscription, but now I’m so glad I did! When I tell you I hate cleaning, but I cleaned the ENTIRE house today… and then when I didn’t get as much appreciation as I hoped for, I chatted with the little cat bot on there, and I love it! I even mentioned I didn’t get two things cleaned, and it gave me little tips on how to clean it easily! I love this thing lol. (We’ll see if it’s still clean in a month tho)
