Full of bugs, I had to go through onboarding 10 times just to finally open the app. I tried the Japanese lessons and they are terrible. For example I chose the beginner level because I know a couple of Japanese words. The first lesson is basic stuff like good morning and thanks, but how am I supposed to know the characters? They ask me to translate good morning into Japanese with absolutely no audio, showing just the characters. How am I supposed to guess that? Also, if you quit a lesson halfway through the lesson map marks all lessons on the map as completed. The AI features don’t work either. You have so many reviews, but clearly, you don’t even have a junior QA to test your app.
I have a C1 level of English (IELTS 8.0), and even though I’m currently living in the US, I still find this app extremely useful. I really enjoy the lessons, my first topic was Financial Literacy, and I learned so many new words from it! The speaking and writing sections are especially impressive. Overall, this is one of the best apps for learning English, not only for beginners but for advanced learners as well
Have some trouble with servers, but I can accept it at the launch. Ready to buy subscription or make a permanent purchase. Keep going guys. Love from Moscow
