I’ve found this app really helpful, no problems with it so far.
So far, I’ve only received a heads up that a storm is coming, which is great. I woke up to 4 notifications while I was sleeping, then another 3 when I got to work, all for the same storm advisory for tomorrow. I like the 24 hours notice, but I don’t need 7 of the in the course of a few hours.
