Let’s get the most important detail out of the way - it works! That’s about the end of the praise. The design is bad - there’s no clear visual hierarchy, things that are grouped together seem arbitrary, the tabs are jankily organized, a lot of buttons push a web view where the content doesn’t fit well. There’s a favorites section but I don’t know what I can favorite. There’s issues in the implementation like not correctly respecting the bottom safe area. There’s zero charm, it’s all white text on black backgrounds, they don’t even have your membership photo associated to your account. It’s also missing features you would expect it to have - why can’t I order a shake in the app while I wrap up my workout so I can grab it off a shelf on my way out instead of waiting in a queue or at least for it to be made? This is really the minimum you could have and ship. But it’s not an MVP,l - there’s plenty of random extra garbage crammed in that they should have waited on. Just not good by any metric.

Why does the number of class attendees disappear after I sign up? I’d like to know if I’m in an empty or a full class. Toggling between days on the class schedule is glitchy and will show things out of order. Why does my total monthly check in count seem to have disappeared? Didn’t we used to get reward points for checking in?

They took an app that was terrible and replaced it with an app that’s even worse. It’s been a week and it still doesn’t have my login barcode so I have to stand in line when I get there to check in with the front desk person. Canceling an individual thrive class sends me a repeat of the confirmation email and text message from when I canceled my thrive membership instead of the correct notification, and the class scheduling section is choppy and a pain to scroll through. Not sure where the money goes as it’s not used on this app or on the equipment at the gym.
