The game is amazing perfect for a busy day to decompress and play casually but the issue comes in where you have to pay to continue playing kinda like a cash grab it would’ve been a more satisfying feel if you took some features away after a certain limit of playing the game or just outright asked for a charge in the beginning with a one time purchase to install it the game is different and trust people would absolutely pay to play but not in the way it’s being done.
I really enjoy tycoon games and this seemed like a great game. I paid for the full version because you need to after 2 in game years. However, these are my recommendations to improve the game to make it enjoyable: 1) My actor ranks #1 across all three nominations one time out of 15 years (previously it had ranged from rank 20 to rank 5), and I win 0 awards. My only award won was when I was rank 5 with a 1% chance. You could 5 star all of the mini games and sometimes your critic rating is still 87 and you’ll rank high for nominations. Yet, you get a 92 critic rating and rank #20 for all nominations. It just seems so inconsistent and impossible to constantly get a high ranking. Improving your overall should take longer but there should still be balance with the money you make and maybe adjust the attributes system. 2) I shouldn’t start out at age 30. And all of the 99 actors also shouldn’t be over the age of 60. You don’t see many dramas and action movies where all 7 core actors are 60+ years old (I’m sure there are a few) 3) I get a 5 star script, 3 99 overall lead actors, and 4 99 overall supporters with a $230m budget. But I make $30m compared to my $120m budget film which makes $2b. When you create the studio, there should be upgrades and not just this simple production. You can start making films 8 years in which doesn’t seem too reasonable for a tycoon that stretches over 40 in game years. 4) The minigames should be harder when you’re low overall and gradually get easier or even disabled. This is a great concept game and time was put in for it, but there are so many things that need to be changed to make it a paid for game.
It’s a well made and fun game but I just wish you wouldn’t immediately start at 30 years old and you’d be able to do more than one movie per year because when ur finished filming a movie there’s multiple unnecessary weeks u just skip
