Heroes Crew: Strategy Defense

It’s honestly a very fun and addicting game but there’s a few issues; 1: there honestly no point to the diamonds, the lucky spin in match is pointless honestly and that only leaves them useful for upgrading mythics and that bring me to the second issue 2: mythic are too expensive to summon. I have over half of the mythics unlocked and are only able to use 3-4 of them in total but typically 1-2 per match. It takes you 20+ waves to get the recipe built if you can survive that long. The rng is pretty bad, I regularly get 4 commons in the shop on a spin with a maxed out chance. Like bro 4 commons? You’d think at a certain point you be garnered at least one rare with a maxed out chance to get LEGENDARY. The game could be great but it seems the creators either don’t care about replayability or they aren’t aware of how quickly this game becomes a nuisance than enjoyable

I’ve been playing this game a ton. It’s fun and balanced, not too grindy like some other rng tower games. However, the most recent update introduced a new Hero but she is behind a paywall (the premium season pass). If this hero isn’t free by the end of the season, it just shows how predatory this company is about making money. It’s ridiculous if we have to pay 13 bucks to unlock a hero in an rng based game UPDATE: Changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. My original complaint was the hero, Dodo, being behind the premium pass pay wall. The developers allowed the purchase of this hero with gems so if you are F2P like I am, you can grind for the gems to buy the hero which I have done. Good move on the devs to allow new heroes to be unlocked with gems

Game review 6/10. It will be a good game if it’s on pc, too much info as a mobile game. There’s a lot of mechanism in this game, lots of characters too. Sometimes it’s hard to find what should I build, for example I’m not able to tell if character is assassin or a knight from the icon when playing. The characters are cute, I like the art style.
