i’ve been using an outdated tracker for the last four years that never updates or has anything good anymore, this app is refreshing and insanely useful. the ai integration makes it the best on the app store right now in my opinion, it’s cute too lol i’m glad i found it!
The premise is great, but the app isn’t work the price on account of the difficulty saving meals, instructions on how to are incorrect. I’ve flagged favorites, but they never actually save, as a result I’m reinventing the wheel every time. Pre or post tracking is a pain and not intuitive, and there’s no easy way to edit if the scanner has grabbed something wrong, only adjust the quantity. It never retains measurements and randomly changes the units. It is one of the better apps I’ve found for tracking macros, at least that I can tell thanks to the free trial. It definitely needs some work though. Not sure if I’ll extend past the free trial or not
I have only had this app for a few days and it is the best for casual counting. It doesn’t carry the intense vibes that other health apps do, where everything about tracking your eating feels extremely consequential. This app is instead very friendly and open, including lots of positive reinforcement. My only critique so far is that my partner (android user) decided to download the app after seeing me use it. His experience was MUCH different! A lot of features that I have exist behind a pay wall for him. And he couldn’t get the camera or microphone to work even after ensuring they had permission. He sadly deleted it. TLDR: it’s great on the iPhone. Very different experience for android.
