The TechAssist app makes installation and maintenance easy. It is easy to navigate, easy to understand, and It’s a great tool for knowing the job was done right.
The company I work for makes us use this app and to be honest the first version wasn’t so bad . Did it have issues… yes… but at least you had the ability to search for the unit via manual input. This app makes it so hard to find the correct unit. If it hasn’t already been registered then you have to look for the IMEI numbers and hey news flash to the developers maybe go out to a yard and try the app yourself. Because more than half of these blue trailers with a smile on it are tired old trailers that may or may not have that data plate still, and if they do have it 7/10 times it’s impossible to read anything off of. I don’t understand why you developers think u have to always make something more techy and hard to navigate. A simple straight forward app is all we technicians need there’s absolutely no reason to make our lives harder, especially when there’s snow, rain and excessive heat involved in our jobs. it would do the developers some good to actually get out in the field and do ride alongs with some of the service technicians that have to use this app and get real in person live inputs. This app is terrible I would give it zero stars if I could
