Beep: Driving Cancellations UK

Failed my test on the 6th of May 26 due to a silly error. I knew I was good enough so downloaded Beep. I got lots of notifications for when slots became free but they were all taken by the time I got to the website. However, after numerous attempts, I somehow managed to see a notification for the 19th of May (13 days after I failed) and got it. I’m glad to say that I passed this time. This app is as good as the amount of effort and patience you’re willing to have to keep trying for a slot. You will eventually get one.

I had bought the app hoping for it to do what it says find me driving cancellations however I came across some various problems 1.My local test centre isn’t listed which was my only intention of purchasing the premium and there is no way to check before paying for “premium” which is an utter failure of the app 2.i managed to book a test manually myself however when I try and update the details on the app it shows completely wrong test date but the correct test centre? Make that make sense 3.communication via email takes several working days so if you have a issue outside the FAQ you’re going to have to wait longer than you think all in all I can say I regret purchasing the app and I would look at other contenders if you are looking for a similar service

This app is a scam and should not be allowed on the App Store. Firstly, there is no real ‘verification’ of your driving test booking details, you can simply enter fake details and it will always come back as ‘successful verification’ but still requiring you to enter your test date manually yourself (actually started laughing here). This is a huge red flag as it shows that the app has no ability to actually interface with the DVSA booking platform and as a result, can’t actually scan for cancellations. Furthermore, the app has very very limited functionality (apart from the fact it doesn’t work) with a lot of sections showing as ‘coming soon’ and a recent update they have pushed simply does not allow you to progress into the app fully unless you pay them (do not pay them, it’s a scam). I hope this review saves some people from this and would recommend looking at alternatives *that actually work*
