I love this game! After attempting to start the training line, it crashed. I reloaded the game and started the storyline and made decent progress before it crashed again. After realizing this is gonna happen every 20 minutes or so no mater what settings I changed and took that into account. Super fan service but you almost always have to pay for it in some form or fashion. You can play the game without purchasing anything and another feature I liked was the ability to close the pop-up adds for the day, reducing the amount of things needed to click through before starting the game. If they fix the constant crashing this would be a 10/10.
Mirren: Star Legends is an odd takeaway. Their approach to in-depth storytelling to shifting to microtransactions of fanservice is critical because my first impression was a “fan service,” to me questioning the real purpose of this mobile game production. It is a turn-based RPG, yet the storytelling makes me wonder who, even arrange, makes this authentic instead of an average gacha fanservice. Right now, from my 3-hour playthrough, this looks like a surface of fan service, when in reality, the beneath is a hidden gem that is truly becoming a masterpiece of a mobile game. I do not believe the rating is low quality; this is more than just a fan service. The storytelling has complex layers; if they produce more updates, they are honestly doing something correct. Making the game as a surface fan service, yet making it oddly creative, is truly original. A low rating does not mean terrible; it means the people who do stay will enjoy the originality of this masterpiece of a project. So, honestly, a low mobile app rating could help them know who truly appreciates the project's community.
Sad, had hopes for this. Same ol’ story… wake up not knowing who you are with a large chested women in front of you. Absolutely terrible story ensues. Booooring 2-d story with way too much dialogue. UI and everything else is just a copy of every other gacha rpg out there. Turn based fighting would be cool but it’s just really confusing. 3 main novas with at least 2 asters each, all with 3 skills… So 27 different attacks to choose from? So confusing that almost immediately it prompts you to let auto-battle take over. Which immediately kills the only thing this game had going for it. Am I trying to get novas or asters? Or both? Who cares anyways. All are either way too big chested (like awkwardly so, and I usually wouldn’t complain) or they are 12 yr olds?? Super creepy. Why do Chinese devs do this? It’s weird to try to make teens attractive. Your first summons gives you a 12 yr old fox girl that immediately licks your face and calls you master. Like why? Uber cringy. What is going on where it is ok to portray young girls like this?? Can’t speak to the fighting too much more because the game crashed the minute after this creepy stuff happened. Not sure what the devs were going for but huge fail…. Only good thing is it does have crisp clean graphics. Super diddy devs strike again. Keep your creepy game to yourself.
