UPDATE: Expert levels are great - and really enjoying Cut Throat. Also emailed them about a minor issue in 3 Player and they are fixing it within the week. PREVIOUS: This one is not quite as good, but still enjoyable and they are updating and adding new twists. When playing against the computer, with two, three or four players, at the easy levels, the computer always over-bids. But once you move to the Hard or Expert levels - gameplay is great and more challenging. 3 and 4 players is really the best - 2 players doesn’t offer enough challenge. I do HIGHLY recommend all their other games as well if you love card games.Spite & Malice and Canasta.are my faves.
While I appreciate the effort you can’t really play spades with 2 people. Adding jokers didn’t help. You need 4 ppl for balance and to strategize properly. Add 2 more ppl - players or bots and you will have something here.
This is a weak attempt at a spades game for sure. In solo, computer reneges and plays jokers and/or spades when holding the played suit. I played Ace hearts, computer trumped it and then played King of hearts. LoL In teams, the opponents AND your partner ALWAYS over bid, like one will bid 6, the other will bid 7 and my “partner” will bid 6. Hahaha. My first team game, I beat the computer 24 to -570 lol.. the limit is set for -150 anyway, so that didn’t work. I eventually just started bidding 1 trick to cover my ‘partners’ over bidding as well. Not to mention it’s a free-for-all and opponents will cut each other as will your partner. Anyway, VERY weak and needs polishing.
