Requiring a phone number before accessing the app is a nonstarter. There’s no justifiable rationale for requiring users to provide their phone numbers prior to accessing the app. The dev is currently giving away a free lifetime premium membership that they state is normally $299. Even if that’s accurate, I wouldn’t hand over my phone number get access for free, much less pay any amount of money.
