After downloading the merge app, I was finally able to get it fired off. It was a little tricky getting the settings correct. The first time I used it i was draining the battery in less than 12 hours on my watch. I went in and turned off all the background refresh settings on my iPhone for most of my apps and then also turned off only apps that I needed to see on my watch. After doing that, I was able to manage the battery on the watch to at least get through the day, even though a one plus watch typically goes for days on a charge. One major issue was the cost of this app. I really can’t justify paying this much money and may end up canceling after the two week trial period. The other issue is I cannot send or receive phone calls on the watch like the app states you can. It keeps showing me a network error.

This app works flawlessly with pixel watch 2. My only suggestion on the app would be using more differentiation between notification icons on the watch. At a glance they look the same. Props to the developers, quality work and has come a long way since I first started using it. The price is a bit bonkers though. I get it, it’s niche, but this subscription model at $60/yr is very difficult to swallow. That’s a quarter of the price of the watch itself. Unfortunately consumers own nothing and subscribing to this…I just can’t do it.

I really like the round watches better so this is why I am giving this a shot. I would like to see the disconnected icon removed, also please add the weather to the watch as well.
