Merge: Connect Android Watches

I wasted my time linking my watch up to this app just to find out this app is literally useless unless you pay a monthly subscription. I paid $110 for my galaxy 7. I'm not going to spend another $60 a year to have this app kill my battery and make my watch useable with my phone. I contacted customer support and they were no help. They just want me to trust the app will suddenly work flawlessly after I pay them $60. Yeah okay, maybe if the app rating weren't horrible I might almost believe you.

From a functionality point, this app is wonderful and much better than the Bridge app. The integration of the Wear OS environment and the IOS environment is seamless. The major complaints are that the watch battery drains really fast and the subscription price is way too high.

After downloading the merge app, I was finally able to get it fired off. It was a little tricky getting the settings correct. The first time I used it i was draining the battery in less than 12 hours on my watch. I went in and turned off all the background refresh settings on my iPhone for most of my apps and then also turned off only apps that I needed to see on my watch. After doing that, I was able to manage the battery on the watch to at least get through the day, even though a one plus watch typically goes for days on a charge. One major issue was the cost of this app. I really can’t justify paying this much money and may end up canceling after the two week trial period. The other issue is I cannot send or receive phone calls on the watch like the app states you can. It keeps showing me a network error.
