Learn German for Beginners

First, I’d like to genuinely thank the creators of this app. I personally am one who learns better on their own accord. With this app there are no pop-up advertisements or up-selling tactics, no miscommunication and no pressure from a teacher- only results. And only at your own pace. But seriously, take. Your. Time. I’ve heard German being used since I was young so of course I picked up some things but the fundamentals, per se, were never broken down to me. This app makes (truly) learning German not only easy and gratifying but almost.. addicting? I can’t wait until I can speak it fluently & because of that I know I’ll actually see this one through.

This app helped me get certified in German! I greatly appreciate the app working offline and not being bombarded with ads. The app was recently reformatted to be more like another app. Normally I hate such a thing and was pretty doubtful at first, but in this case, I feel like it made the app more user-friendly and you can see your progress more easily. That being said, I liked the old version too! I wish there was an extension of this app, or perhaps a second app, that got more advanced, but truthfully there's only so far you can get with any app. After about an A2/B1 level, the amount of knowledge goes up exponentially and can't really be covered in an app. This app gives you a good solid foundation and is great for reviewing later on!

Granted I’m only 1 day into this app but I’ve gotten the alphabet and each letter pronunciation down plus numbers up to 20 and this is easily the greatest language learning app for beginners I have ever encountered (and I’ve tried a LOT) It’s structured, so you’re never wondering what to study next, but you move at your own pace. It has both text and hearing to help you get used to the sounds of the language and you can repeat everything as many times as you feel you need This developer has also created similar apps for French, Spanish, Arabic, and Italian which I haven’t tried but I’m sure they’re just as great - I highly recommend checking them out if you’re starting one of these languages
