I understand that people dont want to share their apt location for safety concerns, but that shouldn’t prevent the app from showing at least the area where the place is, even if approximately. That is way better than not showing a location at all. Also, the number of rooms filter doesn’t make sense. When you select 2 rooms, it means it only searches for 2 rooms and not 2+ (equal or above), which is how a query that makes sense would be built. The same for bathrooms, parking spaces, etc.
To be much more useful, the app needs features: 1) Filter by price should include daily or monthly option - otherwise searching for monthly rentals with a price of 2500 reals is just showing daily rentals with this price 2) Filter by lot size for houses - there is not way to easily search for houses with large lots 3) Show results on map - yes most real estate agents do not include the exact address, but the app can show approximate address in the area. That way people will not need to search through all the results and check each listing just to make sure it is in the right area / neighborhood 4) When clicking on the listing, the image on top is cropped for some reason and it just feels wrong. People instinctively pull the screen down to see full image but instead the listing page refreshes which eats a lot of internet traffic. Please do not crop the image, just show the full image sized to device width. If these features are added, the app would be great!
Me and my wife have been searching for a house and started using vivareal not long ago. With this iphone version we can drive around and look at listings in the area or just use it to browse recently listed properties.
