Awesome for naming devices
I’ve tried to use it to locate lost items, and it doesn’t seem all that accurate. It could help you verify your device is in the same house as you, but it couldn’t narrow down an object that was in my other hand. Also the “sound” button does nothing. And the “vibrate” button vibrates the device you are using NOT the device you are trying to find. I like the idea of this app but it definitely needs more fine tuning. P.S The constant pop up to rate and review is very annoying.
First, every time you open the app, you have to restore your purchase. Then a pop-up asking for a rating that will not go away after poking the buttons multiple times. It then scans and identifies devices with often cryptic tags with distance in meters? (If this is distance, allow units to be chosen in Settings. Many still use feet, and some have no idea that a meter is about 3 of them…) Wandering close to a known Bluetooth device and rescanning doesn’t change anything. Odd. So far, hasn’t proven very useful.
