Crosslet: No Space Crossword

I downloaded this game just to have something on my phone initially, but now i will be turning others I know onto the game. Its just so cute and fun!!!! I love the animals, the music, and i already like word games so i LOVE this!!!!!!!! Genuinely its so cute and charming, i didnt think mobile games could be this amazing. Usually ill find something like this as an indie game on a random website but nay, its just sitting right here in the app store. (Again the music is so good, im listening to it while writing this and it’s just…. Chefs kiss, you know?)

I saw this on the App Store and thought sure why not. I like word games. Came for the word game, stayed for the lil buddies doing backflips and the worm to jazz. I don’t know what inspired this game, but I’m glad it happened.

Great game! It’s simple and satisfying; however, it can be quite irritating when you lose stars for finding “hidden words” (i.e., words that aren’t included in a particular puzzle). This can be frustrating because there’s no clear theme to each puzzle—just a random assortment of words. With that in mind, there’s no reason players should be penalized for guessing valid words, especially when we’re given no direction or indication of a theme and must rely on random guesses. The only redeeming aspect is that once you’ve guessed a few words correctly, you can start piecing things together more easily, as the correctly guessed words provide some freebie letters. To the developers and whoever else is reading this, thank you. I look forward to seeing this game improve and playing more!
