Been playing these since the first back right after covid. While features added every year make it better and better and (pro mode) having realistic players and contracts make it very enjoyable to spend a few mins or few hours on. Main issue is the save and freeze problem. Randomly you will have your game freeze or crash and it will fully reset you months back as the “auto save” it makes u do at the start of each month doesnt actually do anything. The first game it worked most of the time however since then it has seemed to just not work. Also do not switch apps unless u save. Many times in this game and in past years ive switched to respond to a text not thinking much and going back after only a few second it fully restarts (could be mostly fixed by just actually auto saving) Smaller things that should be added is NMC/NTC should have some sort of way to push them to waive. Something like scratching them or a team being bad should allow u into trading players such as Kadri nd horvat who just will not allow u trade them/for them no matter how bad there team is or how good your team is.

this game is quite literally everything you could want it a franchise mode simulator. being able to do things like retire numbers, fire and hire more staff other than just coaches and scouts, vote on HoF entries, it’s got so many exceptional gameplay features. two things that need to be addressed however is the need for a sim to next day button while in the regular season and fixing the save data bug. there are some times where the game will freeze at certain points in a menu screen and even though your auto save can be set to save at the end of every calendar month it will still completely wipe your progress. i just finished my third season and had the game freeze in the hire staff menu, and even though i saved after free agency it still reset me to the beginning of the season and i lost everything i did. this isn’t the first time this has happened either. but still, overall a fantastic game, that bug just needs to be fixed. highly recommend for anyone needing to scratch that franchise mode itch that just doesn’t get the satisfaction they want from the EA title.

Been a huge franchise guy all my life and had always played the Ea games for a decent sim. Got to be so frustrated and found this game along the way. Started in 24 but after playing 25 for the last couple of weeks I simply cannot express enough of how well thought out and detailed this game is. It’s simple but does provoke some thought the amazing new additions. Absolute recommend for hockey fans, sports fans for that matter. Shout out dev hockey fans don’t deserve you
