The app is a brilliant idea. So easy to use and amazing for someone new with little creativity like me. Can’t wait to see where it goes from here!
It’s a great idea but it’s not ready yet, I was told I have free draining acidic loamy soil, I have heavy alkaline clay, it didn’t give me the option to override it after I’d done the auto option, then when I went to input my beds I kept being told the maximum length is 2.5m so I put 2.4 and it still told me the maximum length is 2.5m - at this point I deleted. I also thought it would actually map out your garden to figure out which beds are which aspect but it only asks where the end of your garden points so probably not in depth enough for me
Hota is so clever! It analyses your soil type, helps you create flower beds and then tells you what to plant based on themes or colours. I love the suggestions it’s given me so far and look forward to planting so it can tell me how to look after my plants. It’s a fantastic idea and the app is beautifully designed too.
