This is hands down the worst app I’ve ever used as a driver. Incredibly clunky in design. Shows minimal information that is often times inaccurate such as flight info. It does not track your earnings AT ALL. There’s is no way to reconcile your earnings. There is 0 transparency. You have to wait 1 MONTH to get paid and they send you an invoice via email showing all your trips and payouts. You must then go back to every single trip manually and reconcile to see if you were paid correctly, this is by design to make in incredibly difficult for drivers to track their earnings. You are not able to see if wait time was added correctly to a trip, if additional mileage was added to a trip, unless you physically wrote it down externally and correlated it to the booking number. The support in the app is completely useless and basically cannot do anything to help you with legitimate issues, it is there for show. Any disputes are swiftly shutdown even if proof is provided, blacklane never takes accountability for issues or holds passengers accountable. There is no passenger verification or security and safety measures for drivers AT ALL. There is no way to contact your regional manager in the app, you must email and they take about 2-3 weeks to respond to your email. There is no way to upload, update, or check the status of any documents you upload to blacklane through the app. Getting jobs through the app is incredibly difficult as it is first come first serves, the first person to swipe will get the the job. However blacklane has methods on their end to give you less jobs if for example you give back rides too often. How much less rides they and for how long they decide is unexplained and undefined. THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY. Lastly, They claim to be a high-end luxury service but they pay less than uber black. Long distance rides are especially bad, and no tolls are compensated. They do not show how much of the fare they keep for themselves
