I love this game, I can't stop playing it! It's adorable and honestly very fun. I recommend trying it if you enjoy cats and/or puzzle games. However, these compliments don't extend to the "bus jam" side mode levels. These levels are similar to the normal ones, except you need to match colors in a specific order, rather than just matching any cats you can. The first few were fun, but a few days in it rapidly devolved into blindly guessing where the color you need is hidden in boxes or cat houses that you can't see inside of, and if you guess wrong, too bad watch 50 seconds of ads to try again, in which you will most likely fail again because where each cat is located is completely random. In normal levels there's some power ups you can use to counter making mistakes or getting super unlucky if you want, but for some reason you can't use them in bus levels, despite the fact they'd be extremely useful there. It almost feels like a scam to milk ad revenue or make you want to pay for no ads. I think most of the other reviews here are exaggerating how bad the ads are, usually it's a single one only after beating or failing a level (and exiting to menu before losing doesn't trigger one, so just do that instead) which you can skip after 5 seconds, but in this mode it really is awful since you can't skip or avoid them unless you randomly get lucky enough to win first try. There doesn't even seem to be a reward for playing these levels either, so I'm not sure what the point is. Just don't bother with them, stick to the rest of the game, it's far better.
Overall it is a great game, not quite what it said in the description though. Besides that and the fact that when you get a third cat but your boxes are full it says that you failed 😒 It is a good game, very cute and fun. However like the title of this review says, ADS! There are so many ads that it is making me a little mad, because after you finish every. Single. Level. Guess what? THERE IS AN AD! Now at first this didn’t bother me but after all of the levels I have completed it is getting very irritating. And I understand that some people won’t be bothered with it because it is fun and neither was I until I played 68 levels and there was an ad every 2 minutes! I know that I am talking about the ads a lot but I never really talked about the good things, every time you complete a level you get to fed your cat(s) and they get bigger literally! They can reach heights of clouds! That in my opinion is a very fun part of the game. Once again it is an amazing game one of the best I have on my phone.
This is a cute game, and I enjoy playing it. However, in the last day, they’ve added an ad slot at game launch. This slot is often taken up by an ad with a banner built in telling you that there’s a new version of the app and you should update. It’s hard to click out of, and not intuitive because it is specifically designed to look like a genuine app notification. The ads in this game in general feel excessive; there’s now one at launch, one when you start playing, one every time you complete a level, and also one any time your app activity is interrupted (locked your phone, went to a different app momentarily, or sometimes even if an alarm goes off it’ll trigger an ad) and almost every ad you need to close multiple times. Most of them, you have to watch a portion, an x appears, it launches the app store pop up, you close the pop up, and you then have to find a new x to click to close the ad. Some have false close buttons, which of course re-launches the app store pop up, and the true button is often so small that it takes multiple tries to close it (and therefore, more launching of the app store pop up). It’s ridiculous. If things don’t change for the better with the ad situation soon, I’m likely to delete the game because I don’t want to spend more time on ads than on the game itself and I hate predatory ads.
