My Pulse: Heart Rate Monitor

The advertising implies this app will measure your blood pressure. LIES!!!!! It is simply a pulse rate monitor which you can get free from other apps. No need to pay $40 a year. The only saving grace is the trail is free so you can do like me, and delete it after 5 minutes. Don’t forget to cancel the trial subscription. Amazingly enough I got a response from the developer offering to help me cancel the trial FOUR MONTHS LATER!!!! I’d have been paying that subscription for months had I actually needed the help. Nice try but no cigar.

This app is a total waste!!! The only measurement it actually takes is the pulse and it does not do that well. Usually takes several attempts to get a successful reading. The biggest letdown is that it does not connect with Apple health. They make you think you will be able to take you blood pressure with the app but that is not the case. You can document your blood pressure which you can also do with Apple health. And of course the best deal is to get a year subscription and that does not include a free trial. Please don’t waste your $40 like I did.
