Speakeasy AI Dictation

Speakeasy is easier to use and more accurate than any other dictation software I’ve used, often catching proper nouns and longer, complex phrases. As someone who dictates longer blocks of texts, this has been a game changer for emails, short presentations, lists, and other items I can dictate on the go.

Speakeasy is the most accurate dictation app I’ve used—so much more accurate than the native iPhone keyboard dictation. And since you can add it as a keyboard, it’s just as convenient to use in any app. I tend to flip keyboards anyway between English and French, so it feels like a natural enough integration for me to use it regularly. Looking forward to dictating in other languages in a future update! I’d recommend it for sure.

I struggle to use the onscreen keyboard due to my abnormally large thumbs. I’ve tried Apple’s built-in dictation, but the results usually need so much manual correction that I barely end up saving any time. I’m glad there’s finally an app leveraging the recent advances in AI to solve this problem. The app switching takes some getting used to, but the results are such high quality that I no longer even bother editing them. Glad I downloaded, and looking forward to future updates!
