This was a total scam of an app. After downloading a few “improve your speaking” apps I tried this. It has a step by step process to get you started,enabling microphone, adding filler words you want to stop using, complete with recording a passage at the end. I next expect an analysis of that passage like other apps. Then you get stopped by a pay wall. Fine, so I try the free trial. So finally in the full paid app only to discover ALL it does it record your voice and a wavy line will appear as you speak. The line goes up if you say a filler word. That’s it. There are no more buttons, no more functions. That is the whole thing. I was so confused until I realized that is literally all it does. So do not pay the great deal on a yearly subscription.

This app is an amazing idea in an age where speech matters, especially with our business interactions often not in person. This app was easy to set up and use and despite being a professional for many years, it has made my public speaking super impactful and made me pause to speak with greater effectiveness!

Easy to use and effective. Recommend for anyone working to improve public speaking and presentation skills. As a hiring manager, frequent use of filler words by candidates is a bigger issue than many applicants realize and can be exacerbated by nervousness. It’s important to practice. This allows you to improve on your own and tracks progress in a measurable way, making you better and improving confidence.
