AI-Story: Write, Talk & Chat

I started out with 3.5 voice messaging and got a message about couldn’t connect, try again later. Tried a few more times and got the same message. Then I switched to regular messaging and again same message. So, then, I switched to 4o and used Samantha 4o rather than Frank, and tried a regular message or two and I got the same exact red message claim their is no connection try again later. I want to say this whole time, my WIFI router is five or six feet from me and I have full bars of connection soooo…. Yeah connection on my end is there. Do not spend your money on this if you are thinking about it because if I hadn’t have gotten this from App Advice, I’d be a very angry person wanting my money back immediately but luckily, that’s not the case. Just saying I tried different services that this app supposedly offers and NONE of them could connect and I should just try again later… yeah probably not. Just make sure that you can get this to work before deleting any other apps you may have to avoid the issues I’m having to deal with. Take care all and best of luck to you.

Please create a version of this app that is formatted for iPads. I love this app, but use it mostly ion my iPad and it is frustrating to view the output in such a narrow space. 5 star app with this implementation. Also, if you could create “CONVERSATION MODE”, where I can speak to Frank and he replies back in voice as the text is displayed, without me having to select the text and use the PLAY WITH VOICE option, that would be epic. ***And, as promised, I have revised my star rating for this app to a 5, since my feature request was implemented. I appreciate that…***

I asked the Frank AI a question while using the Chat GPT-4o protocol and it gave me this response: “As of my knowledge cutoff date in October 2023”… Just kind of confusing as it appears that the information present within the Ai is not current but is backlogged all the way back to October 2023? Why wouldn’t it have the latest information and updates current to the moment? Just curious as this seemed kind of perplexing to me. Think the app is great but it’d be nice if there was a way to make it more current. Similar to the Perplexity AI app. Maybe have a switch you could turn on or off in the settings that would function like the Perplexity AI app (by answering questions with relevant articles attached so you know the information is correct, while simultaneously still using chat gpt 4o for logic and understanding what you say) when you want it to and off when you just want to chat with the AI.
