I strongly recommend checking your bank statements very carefully if you subscribe to this app. I signed up for what was presented as a weekly subscription. However, I then started being charged approximately every three days, which was never clearly disclosed when I signed up. Even worse, the amount being charged later was more than double the original subscription price. I have also tried repeatedly to cancel. The cancellation process is extremely difficult to find, and even after going through the steps and being told the subscription was canceled, I continued receiving charges. The subscription also does not appear under my Apple subscriptions, despite using Apple Pay for the purchase, which makes the entire situation even more frustrating and difficult to resolve. A weekly subscription should not result in unexplained charges every few days, especially at significantly higher amounts than what was originally presented. In my experience, the billing and cancellation practices have felt extremely deceptive. Please be very cautious before entering your payment information, and monitor your account closely if you already subscribed.
This app will not let you pay for your subscription through Apple. It comes up with an error and prompts you to enter your credit card info. And then they continue to charge you after you cancel the subscription. That’s why Apple can’t give you a refund for this. Apple has it as a “free download”. So you have to cancel the subscription through the app; FYI - to do that, go to the Help Center and scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN. You will see a link at the bottom that is not easy to see due to the color and how it doesn’t match the name “PopoVibe”. But I did this immediately after accepting the cheaper weekly offer they reeled me in on, and I still got charged twice more. And they didn’t do it weekly, the two extra charges were 4 days apart. I am having to cancel my debit card and dispute with the bank. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS COMPANY. I should have read the reviews. (Edit: And in response to the developer to my comment, yes you all did. You charged me twice in four business days. I had to dispute it with my bank who gave me my money back. And they did that almost immediately due to seeing that you all charged me incorrectly. Weekly does not mean twice in four business days. Maybe it was a mistake on your part? But considering there are a couple other complaints, it could also be entirely intentional.)
