ScottishPower - Power Saver

I’ve used this app many, many times; so long as you are in a place where there’s WiFi, it’s easy to decide ahead of the power saving session whether to participate or not. The proposed reward is visible quite quickly although the verification process (by a third party, I assume) can take a month or two (and on one occasion nearly four months). The app is very easy to use and navigate to view the awards.

Notifications regarding event and participation are repeated after confirmation of agreed involvement. No explanation or contact details to query points that are allocated. On two different occasions reached my power saver Kw target which were approximately equal, on the first occasion was awarded over 450 points but on the second only received under 100 points. All data was approximately equal apart from points allocated. Would have liked an explanation ellimike

Great idea but takes ages to get confirmation of points and there appears to be no set standard as to the amount of power saved to the amount of points given. Be interesting to see how this goes in the future but happy to help with this pilot study. Also more warning of upcoming events as I’m often out and can’t get home to rearrange heating times.
