One-Click Translate

These earbuds are “ok” for a one on one conversation, but don’t buy them if you want to use them for a lecture or sermon as I did. They only gave me a sentence here and there, kept popping up “not authorized “ then I’d have to re-authorize them. They would stop while listening to a sermon and then I’d have to restart the conversation. I don’t recommend these earbuds.

The app translates my needs just fine. I wish when I tap (Start Conversation) it would not shut off so quick. I guess because it doesn’t hear any conversation it stops and you have to hit the button again. I constantly have to get my phone out of my pocket to start the conversation again. If they would program the conversation mode to stay on and just have a manual off that would make it a 5 star.

Native Hungarian speaker here. I tried basic sentences like I fed the dog. Translation was: Tapottam a kutyát. Tapottam as a word doesn’t exist. Next: I feed the dog. Translator says: Táplom a kutyát. No such word as Táplom in Hungarian. Next: why is this so complicated? Translator to Hungarian: miért ez ilyen bonyolult? I could understand this translation but grammatically incorrect. Words are not in the right order. I tried to be funny so Next I said: I beat up the kids. Pretty simple, right? Translation: Láttam a gyerekeket. Grammatically correct, that just doesn’t mean “I beat up the kids”. That means “I saw the kids”. Completely wrong translation. This is where I stopped experimenting with the translator. I don’t even dare to use this translator with anyone at this point. Please do something about correcting the words in the app and make sure it’s not Google who helps to revise the dictionary!!! Otherwise this little tool would be awesome!!! Good to play with it if you want to laugh though! 😅
