School Bytes for Parents

Great that everything is centralised, but hard to know when any news comes in. The news badge within the app should be linked to the app itself so the user can easily see what news has come it and be true push notifications. Otherwise you have to poll the app, which gets old very quickly

So far the buttons work but wish notifications were clearer and that you could see them easily. The app logs you out so you can’t see when you have something new, like previous school apps. I’d prefer to have an option to stay logged in and see on the app button when I have a new thing to sign or a new newsletter to read. It’s also not clear when you sign in what’s important to read. Make these clearer on the first page so you know what to look at. Many parents can’t work it out and miss seeing important notes

The parent portal is so easy to use, all permission notes can be submitted online, keeps record of any payments ever made to the school, easy to select things to pay and quick tap to make adjustment to amount if you need to just pay a deposit. It keeps communication from school organised in one ap. Love it. Would be good to be able to review the original permission note content, I’m sure this development will be in the future as this product just keeps offering practical solutions to families and schools.
