This appears to be manual, which is keeping the native vocabulary while ignoring the true grammar of the SL so it is faster and easier to learn. There is nothing wrong with this, however higher levels should show the true grammar of the SL. For example, try the LSM and try to convert between LSM and Spanish sentences… the grammar is completely different
